The Watson Family Foundation prides itself on its efforts to centralize its scholarship opportunities under one umbrella. The organization includes the Success Through Education, Planning and Perseverance or S.T.E.P.P. Foundation, founded by Bernard C. Watson, Jr., in partnership with Renasant Bank.
As the costs of quality educational experiences continue to grow, it is the goal of the Watson Family Foundation to expand its reach through fundraising and spotlighting the long-term benefits of pursuing and achieving higher education goals. The organization also works diligently to pair students with professional mentors and meaningful internships.

The Watson Family Foundation was established to centralize, coordinate, support, and improve individual and group access to quality education at all levels.
As an IRS-approved 501(c)(3) organization, your gift to the Watson Family Foundation is tax deductible. Every contribution supports the goal of helping students obtain post-secondary education opportunities. Your support of the Watson Family Foundation will light their path to success.
Our impact
With a specific interest in supporting students experiencing challenging circumstances, the Watson Family Foundation has awarded in excess of $400,000 in college scholarships for undergraduate education at more than 50 institutions of higher education, including more than 15 Historically Black Colleges and Universities.
